03 · How judges score
Judges tap dancers best-first. The first tap is 1st place; tap again to put it back, and the next tap fills the spot. In crowded early rounds, judges score 1.00–5.00 and the system turns each judge’s scores into that judge’s ranking. Solo divisions with no leader/follower split are judged the same way as one list.
04 · The majority tally
6 judges · majority 4
The system counts who each judge put higher, and the moment more than half agree, that place is locked. Because placements aren’t decided by adding points, differences in how strictly each judge scores don’t directly affect the final ranking.
Different round, different panel — set the judge line-up per round, with a head judge named for each heat.
The panel locks with the first score. Nobody changes the judges after seeing results.
05 · Built to verify
Tap any placement to see the full calculation — the votes, the majority line, the exact cell where it was decided. Competitors, organizers and judges can all verify the same table.
Ties break in a fixed order — majority count, sum of placements, deeper comparison, head-to-head, the head judge, and finally a recorded organizer decision.
An unresolved tie at the cutoff pauses advancement until it is resolved. No extra spots are added.
06 · Competition day
Withdrawals, heat changes, and dropped connections happen on competition day. Each one is covered.
A snapshot is saved at every advance and heat change. Whatever happens, you can return to the last confirmed round.
If the line drops, a banner appears at the top of the screen. You can decide whether to wait or reconnect.
Pick up any device, type your name, continue where you left off. Your data can be backed up and restored at any time.
Enter your event code and organizer PIN, add competitors and judges, then set each heat’s line-up and panel.
Judges score the early rounds, then rank competitors in the Final.
When scoring is done, one button advances the top dancers.
Share the placements and their full decision trail with a view-only link — sharing it never hands out control.
